Bouncy suspension

My stock suspension gets pretty bouncy on rough stretches like the 405 in SoCal. I've heard the HKS Hipermax S, when tuned a bit toward comfort, rides smoother, gives a drop, has a better spring rate, and allows more wheel options, does it really work that well?

Testing your patience, I see. 😁 The HKS Hipermax S does have a good rep for smoothing out the ride while giving you that sleek drop. Have you thought about how low you want to go or which wheel options you're eyeing?

Haha, definitely testing patience! I'm thinking of a moderate drop for comfort without sacrificing handling, for wheels, I'm eyeing something lightweight but sturdy. Any recommendations on wheel brands?

A balanced drop sounds like the way to go. No need to trade comfort for style. For lightweight yet sturdy options, brands like Enkei or Rotiform might be worth a look. They're known for striking a balance between performance and style.

Just adding to @I_am_Caleb's brand recommendations. OZ Racing, Apex Wheels and Volk Racing are also worth checking. They got good reputation for balancing weight reduction with strength!

Yep Enkei's been on my radar, but I'll check out Rotiform too, one's gotta keep that ride smooth without killing the look, thanks

Awesome, thanks for the heads-up...I've heard good things about Volk but forgot about OZ and Apex, I am adding those to my list

Yea the HKS Hipermax S is a decent upgrade, when tuned for comfort, it rides noticeably smoother than stock, especially on rough roads like the 405. It also gives a nice drop, better spring rates and more flexibility with wheel fitment.
