VF tuner for GR86

I've heard so much about this Vf tuner, I'm thinking about getting one for my GR86
But I want to hear what's the real people here think about VF tuner, is it red fag or green flag?

Any advice, experience and all are welcome

VF Tuner is generally good for the GR86, offering great control for custom tuning and maximizing modifications, especially with forced induction.
However, it's not a simple plug-and-play so you'll likely need a professional tuner or to learn tuning yourself!

I agree with this, and amateurs can end up damaging their cars. The second problem is that these kinds of tunes are generic and not specific to each car. My advice is if you're after more power, take it to a dyno. With that said, tuning an NA engine is a joke and you won't get anything drastic. If you want big power go turbo

well, It's a green flag for sure if your goal is power and you accept the risks. But if you're just looking for a tiny bump or are super concerned about long term reliability without other mods, maybe think hard

If non-US models dont have a flash counter (and skip the annoying phone-home system), that honestly makes them way more appealing.

Seen mixed results with VF Tuner, especially when users dive in without tuning experience. If you're planning to DIY without pro support, that might be a bit hard. Agree with everyone else here, it's powerful, but not exactly beginner-proof.
