The Trueno badge doesn’t show a number

My dad picked up a Canadian Trueno and noticed there's no "1 of 860" badge on the dash. I figured they were all counted together. Is Canada's batch separate from the US run?

The 860 badge was only for the U.S. market, got to know that canadian truenos didn't get numbered plaques even though they were part of the overall limited production, still the same specs tho

Oh man, that omage to initial d is just what we diehard fans wanted.

As for the plaque, @Tati.ana explained it nicely and is right, but let me give you my thoughts on this. As muhas as I'm a sucker for a tribute to something, the 86 is a driver's car, so enjoy it with your dad on the twisties and don't worry about some number both of you won't even think of once the tail starts to slide.

Thank you both for the information. The plaque being a US market item makes sense and I agree with you the real fun is driving it! Are there any other minor spec differences between the US and Canadian Trueno editions?
